LooP! was formed in 1994 by
me - Ian C Boot - after many years performing in my own and other
names. My basic tenet is to produce dynamic modern pop music. I have been writing and producing this style of music for over 15 years and although many have said I should be past this phase by now, I still continue in the classic tradition. LooP! use Electronics and Voices only. |

"irrelevant". Modern music styles change but the timeless resonance of good pop songs remains long after the critics have moved on. The music of LooP is intended to continue in the classic pop tradition of Lennon & McCartney, Andersson and Ulvaeus and Vince Clarke. |

2006 Back doing trance stuff again ( as LooP). New CD "Too close" is now available and selections from this will be uploaded soon. 2003 Having spent the last few year getting some trance stuff off my chest, I am now concentrating on new LooP material. I became a singer/songwriter whilst at college and my first live appearance was in the band RESONANCE with two friends. After college, the band split up and I began building my studio which at that time consisted of a portastudio and a EDP Wasp synthesiser. My first releases were on cassette only and were played entirely by hand. Now LooP ! 's music is recorded direct to hard disk using various sequencers and synthesisers but it still retains the touch of individuality and pop innocence of my earlier work. All LooP releases are now on CD (and of course Cassette) |
